Going places, getting lost, taking detours…My childhood dream was to be an explorer or a writer. Back then I was shy and quiet, and I found the adventures and far away places in books. Now, forty years later, I am on the road. Turns out that my childhood dream did come true in some way. I am a researcher by profession and my job – or sometimes the lack of it – has taken me to far away places. So, my blog is not your average travel blog but more like a magnifying glass that is directed to small stuff on the ground while walking outdoors. It’s a quick glimpse before you cross a busy street in Bangkok or a peaceful long breath you take on top of a mountain in Norway as you realize you are finally there.
